How do I log in to my TechScholar Campus?

There are two ways to login to TechScholar Campuses.

  1. Your campus may be accessible via a unique Campus URL. Typically the URL is (campussponsor).techscholar.com

  2. If you already have an account, you can log in using the unique URL for your campus. Enter your company email (your company email - it must contain the domain name of your company) and the password you selected when you created your account.

    If you do not already have an account, you will need to create an account. To create an account:

    • Go to the unique URL for your Campus and click the ‘Register here!’ button. Enter your name, company, company email (it must contain the domain name of your company) and a password that you choose.
    • Once your account is created, you can log in by going to the unique URL for your Campus and entering the email you registered your account with and selected password.

  3. Your Campus may be accessible from the partner portal of the Campus Sponsor. Please check with the Campus Sponsor to verify the registration and access requirements for their specific partner portal.

Can anyone else see my Personal Account Page?

Other than TechScholar.com program administrators, your personal account information is your own. However, the sponsor of your Campus or the PTM Sponsor that authorizes your access to their training materials have access to reporting data including PTM completion reports and quiz scores and selected Campus participation information.

What if I forgot my password or need to change it?

You can easily reset your password by clicking the ‘Forgot your password?’ link on the log in page. Then, just enter your company email and click the submit button. Check your inbox for a message from TechScholar with instructions on how to reset your password. If you do not see a message in your inbox within a few minutes, please check your spam folder.

Is TechScholar available all the time?

TechScholar.com is an active web-based program. Barring any unforeseen server or web traffic issues it will be available 24/7 and 365 days a year.

Can I retake a quiz?

PTMs and quizzes are always available for a ‘refresher’ but for certain promotions, the only quiz score captured and reported is the score from the first time you take the quiz. Please check the Terms & Conditions for promotions for details.

If I exit the quiz before I finish, do I get points for the questions I answered?

If you exit the quiz before you answer all 5 questions and receive your score, then the quiz is considered incomplete and you will not receive any points. You can return to the quiz at a convenient time to complete all 5 questions and receive a score.

Is there a way to improve my quiz score?

Quiz scores are only recorded the first time you complete the quiz. Although you are able to retake a PTM and its quiz, the score will not be recorded or factored into your existing score.

Who can see my quiz score?

Quiz scores may be reported to the Campus and PTM sponsors in periodic reporting. Quiz scores may also be available and displayed on a Leaderboard that appears on the Personal Account Page for your Campus if the Campus sponsor has activated the TechScholar Leaderboard feature.

What is a PTM?

A PTM is an acronym for a Product Training Module. Our Product Training Modules are concise online training modules that target a product’s or service’s key selling points. PTMs are published to a campus where they are available for inside and outside sales reps and other key personnel to complete.

How long does it take to complete a PTM?

PTMs usually take 15-30 minutes to complete. The PTM is considered complete when a quiz score has been recorded.

Are PTMs available all the time?

Once a PTM is published it will remain active and available on a Campus until the PTM or Campus sponsor chooses to archive the training, which may happen as content becomes out of date.

If I need to exit a PTM before I finish, can I still complete it later?

If you choose to exit a PTM before you complete the quiz, you can return to the PTM at any time to complete it and receive your quiz score upon completion of the PTM’s quiz.

How come my PTM does not show as completed, although I completed it?

A PTM is only completed once you have finished the quiz and received a score. If you exit the PTM before you receive your quiz score the PTM will not be considered completed.

Can I take PTM more than once?

PTMs are always available to take as refresher courses. However, your quiz scored is only recorded the first time you take a PTM. Any subsequent times the quiz is taken, the score is not recorded.

How do I access a PTM that I have already taken?

Currently, completed PTMs appear at the bottom of the Training Page, under ‘Your Completed Product Training Modules’. You can also easily find it and retake it by typing the manufacturer name or PTM name in the search bar.

Where does the content for a PTM come from?

The TechScholar team creates original content for each PTM from manufacturer marketing materials such as sell sheets and PowerPoint presentations. All content and quiz questions are approved by the sponsor and when applicable your Campus administrator prior to PTM publication.

Can I print out the pages of a PTM?

This feature is not optimized for PTM content. A ‘Pocket PTM’ or ‘PTM Quick Review’ which is a short summary of the PTM is available to download and print.

Can I get additional information on the products presented in the PTMs?

Yes, when additional information is available it will be included on the ‘Additional Resources’ or ‘Extend Your Learning’ page of the PTM with a link to download.
